I decided to enter A&S Protectors and found it to be the toughest challenge so far - both in the piece of work I decided to make and in the competition from the other entries. I did a piece based on a 15th century French book of hours featuring St. John of Patmos - the author of the Book of the Apocalypse. I did it on goat parchment and gilded a substantial part of it.
